Ner Tamid's Five Year Vision: In 5 years, Ner Tamid will be a 150-family reform synagogue with a familial environment, providing services every Friday and Saturday, and a full-service youth and adult education program.
The vision is simple, but as you can imagine, achieving this vision requires additional rabbinical support, a home of our own, and several other forms of growth. The initial steps to achieve our vision began this fiscal year (starting April 1, 2010.) Year-one goals of our vision include growth of our membership by 30%, the launch of our B'nai Mitzvah program, the addition of a second Friday night service come spring 2011, development of additional synagogue operational policies, and creating new tools for communicating with our constituents, including the launch of this Website.
